Chocolate chip muffin
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled (or 2 cups +
3 tbsp cake flour, spooned and leveled)
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup milk, room temperature (buttermilk or whole milk
preferred for moistest texture)
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 2 eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips (mini, regular, or
both)
